A BMW is a harder PDR job than most cars on the road, and it is the one where getting it right matters most — because the finish shows everything and the paperwork follows the car for life.

Aluminum panels. Most modern BMW chassis use aluminum for the hood and front fenders, and often the doors. Aluminum does not behave like steel under a PDR tool — it has far less memory, so it does not want to spring back toward its original shape on its own. It has to be moved deliberately, in smaller increments, with more heat control. Push it like steel and you get a low spot you cannot take back out.
Panel gaps and bracing. BMW builds to tight tolerances, with more internal bracing and adhesive-bonded seams than a comparable domestic car. That limits where a tool can physically reach behind a panel. Some dents that would be a straightforward push on a truck need glue pulling from the outside instead, or access through a route that takes real disassembly to open up.
The finish shows everything. BMW metallic and pearl finishes sit over a hard clear that reflects in long, unbroken lines. A repair that would pass unnoticed on a matte-ish silver economy car reads as a ripple on a BMW under shop lights. We work to the reflection, not to the feel of the panel.

On a BMW the argument for paintless dent repair is stronger than on almost anything else.
Your paint history stays clean. A refinished panel reads differently on a paint depth gauge, and anyone buying or appraising a used BMW checks. Hail damage repaired with PDR leaves no refinish to find — the car keeps its factory finish and the documentation says so.
No color-match risk. BMW individual and metallic colors are among the harder ones to blend. PDR sidesteps the problem completely; there is nothing to match.
Days instead of weeks. Body and paint on a full hail claim means teardown, filler, primer, booth time, and reassembly across multiple panels. PDR on the same car is a fraction of that, and your BMW is not sitting in a booth queue.
When PDR is the wrong call, we say so. Stretched metal, cracked paint, or a dent on a hard body line sometimes has to go the conventional route — and we do that work too, in the same building.
Evaluations are free and need no appointment during shop hours. We will look at the panels and tell you whether it is a PDR job, a body job, or not worth your deductible. A fully scoped written hail estimate is $500, credited back when you repair with us — and not charged at all if you are leaving the vehicle for the repair.
